Prior to the setting up of NAPOD, the online divorce industry was one of the few business sectors of its size not to have a trade association.
UK online divorces – and their related services – now account for an annual turnover running into millions of pounds. As consumer confidence grows in the purchasing of online services, and people become more aware of online divorces, this figure will likely turn into tens of millions.
With the advent of more and more smaller firms into the marketplace, it is hoped that online divorce providers will support the initiative and seek NAPOD membership as a statement of their intent to maintain integrity, honesty and transparency within a rapidly growing industry.
